Hi, I’m Pat, and I’m a sound guy.

As Miles Davis put it, “I love music. It’s in my head, I can’t get it out.” That’s my in a nutshell. I’ve been obsessed with music since I was a kid, and once my dad introduced me to film and tv shows, all I could think about was making music and creating soundscapes. At Marist University, I learned how to use microphones and mixing boards. I put those skills to every student film I worked on. Most notably my senior project I co-wrote and directed called “Office Hours,” of which I received my school’s film award for best sound and music. I’ve also worked on projects such as “The Briefcase” a joke script blending The Sopranos and It’s Always Sunny; “Feedback” which is an experimental perspective short about my guitar; and a reimagined scene from “Being John Malkovich” inspired by Atlanta.

My band, Derecho, is my passion project for creating music. We write and record our own original material (inspired by Neil Young, Pearl Jam, and Jeff Buckley); songs we record live in a studio which I then mix and master at home. We’ve released 4 singles and are planning a big EP release later this year.
